ZERO!
I saw a kind of bottles contest in a 3D-forum and it made me want to do it too. The contest was finished yet but no way, I had to make it for myself!
I wanted to push further the realism, to make it like it can be for a real zero advertisment.
For this work I also used Maxwell
Maya - MentalRay - Maxwell
AO + Beauty pass + Maxwell rendering
Phtoshop
IBL - HDRI

As a CG artist I have to improve my skills!
Surfing the net, I learned a bit about HDRI and how to use it as an Image Based Lighting in Maya (IBL) then I worked up this new skill to see how much realistic it can be.
I wanted to get something more realstic that I have done before.
You can compare the different result with my olds works.
Maya - MentalRay - IBL
The Gate of The Temple
My ending-year project. For this work, we all had to design a gate.
I wanted to create a gate from an old mythologic big temple hidden deep inside a big wood like the Amazian Forest.
As you can see, I had some glitches for rendering leafs but I never figured out why..
No way! My work is done and I met the deadline :D
Maya - MentalRay - sun&sky (configured untill I get what I wanted)
AO + Beauty pass
Photoshop to put it together
Trompe l'oeil
My second project for my 1st year at school
(after 6months).
For this schoolwork, I wanted to show how a storage cupboard can be left unattended.
It is a few steps before going to the attic hehe..
Maya - MentalRay - a mix of lights (that I configured untill I get the ambiance I wanted)
Ambient Occlusion & Beauty pass.
(for this work I learned that AO helps to get more realistics shadows)
Photoshop to put it together an get the final result.
